Howard HS of Technology located in Wilmington, DE is hosting its inaugural Wildcat Invitational and are seeking teams to join the field. This will be an individual round robin with 10-12 teams. Tournament details are listed below. 

Howard Wildcat Invitational

Date: Saturday, January 25th 2025

Location:
Howard High School of Technology
401 East 12th Street 
Wilmington, DE 19801

Cost: $400 

Format:
  • Individual Round Robin
  • 10-12 Teams
  • 2 pools plus a crossover match
  • Possibility of entering 2 wrestlers per weight to ensure even pools
  • DIAA weight classes in effect: 106,113,120,126,132,138,144,150,157,165,175,190,215,285
  • This will be considered a pooled event and be worth 3 PIAA competition pts.
Additional Info
  • Awards to top three place winners at each weight class and top 2 teams
  • OW Award
  • Concessions available the entire day 
  • Hospitality Room for coaches and officials - if you come the first time you'll come back just for the food

Only 2 openings remain for the 2025 Wildcat Invitational. Don't miss out on a great opportunity to get some quality mat time against teams from around the Mid-Atlantic. We currently have teams from DE, PA, MD, and VA committed to attend. 

Committed Teams as of 4/19/24: Howard (DE), Archmere Academy (DE) Indian River HS (DE), Newark HS (DE), Academy Park HS (PA), Cheltenham HS (PA), York Suburban (PA), Bishop McNamara (MD), Wakefield HS (VA)

Only 1 spot remains for the Wildcat Invitational hosted by Howard High School of Technology, on Saturday, January 25th. This is an individual round robin tournament, and will count as "Pooled Event". Teams accepted on a first come first served basis.  If you are tired of wrestling the same few teams and the same tourney's every season and are looking for an opportunity to wrestle against new and varied competition this is the tournament for you! We have teams from across the Mid-Atlantic region including PA, DE, MD, and VA.
