Let me clean some up for the boys who (or at least some) were clearly more focused on their eggnogs than results from last weekend:
133
Soto has a H2H over McBride, but I get it, senior with a state medal maybe gets some leeway.
139
I'll take Kane over Warkentine based off strength of schedule and in/off-season training
145
Woloshyn over a 2x state qualifier... tough call there. that would be a good match.
152
Dykie over Jaffe, another non SQ over a 2x SQ but that's why they wrestle the match
160
Rankers didn't notice Carroll coming back I assume. Thank goodness Dennis dropped to 152 this weekend because this weight is crowded. (Granted now 152 will get pretty deep as well).
What will the Faith kids do? Should be some interesting wrestle-offs come February.
172
Gaj and Corp made their debuts. Gas is obviously the best kid at the weight and that's no knock on Singer, who tuned up Christiensen, who tuned up Hostetter, at Beast.
Gaj, Singer, Corp, Hostetter, Cole are the best 5 at the weight and who knows how those last 3 wind up if they had a round robin.
189
Not sure what Latorre did to jump Carr. I think Carr would be the Vegas favorite at regionals, even with Spielman's state hardware.
215
Where is the PAC you ask? Well finally, you will find some here. Richards is back, but the rankers missed it. Decker Bechtold might be the best kind at the weight when he gets healthy.
285
We need Bechtold back. We need Dean.
