With the 2022-23 PIAA wrestling season about to kick off, District 1 has finalized locations for most of the post-season events.
Team Tournaments
The 2023 District 1 Duals will be slightly different from recent years. 16 teams will still be selected for the AAA field, and the AA field will feature up to 4 teams from District 1 and District 12.
The changes are in the scheduling. The AAA first round matches will take place on Thursday, January 26th at the site of the higher seed. The tournament will then conclude on Saturday, February 4th at Upper Dublin, not Friday/Saturday.
The AAA quarterfinals will take place at 8:30 AM, followed by the AAA semifinals and first consolation round at 10 AM. The AAA consolation semifinals and AA semifinals will wrestle at 11:30 AM. The final round will start at 1 PM with the AAA final and third place match plus the AA final.
The top 4 AAA teams advance to the state bracket while the AA champ advances.

The AAA post-season will consist of 4 sections on Saturday, February 25th. The host sites will be Quakertown (East), Perkiomen Valley (North), Interboro (South), and Oxford (West). Top 4 placers in each tournament at each weight will advance to the regional.
The South East AAA regional tournament will be held at Souderton HS on Friday, March 3rd and Saturday, March 4th. Top 5 placers at each weight will advance to states.
The District 1/12 AA tournament will be run on Saturday, February 25th at Faith Christian Academy HS. Top 3 placers at each weight will advance to the regional.
The South East AA regional tournament will be held at Bethlehem Freedom HS on Friday, March 3rd and Saturday, March 4th. Top 6 placers at each weight will advance to states.
