Let's get some predictions going before competition starts on Friday! How many D12 wrestlers make it states? What PCL teams make the playoffs? Will PPL final be NE vs Central for the 9th season in a row? What wrestlers will have a break out season? Is this the year a PPL team makes it into state bracket?

I don't think the results will be much different in terms of PCL; it will just be more contested. Judge lost some talent for sure in Liam Logue, Lawler, and Fountain. However, they still got wrestlers ready to defend the title: Sean/Eamonn Logue and Kidwell, and big contributors in Edwards, Wildonger, Spicer, and Lage. Ryan won't be able to make up for there losses to beat Judge. The real question is how Ryan vs Prep will this year. That's all assuming the Prep beats LaSalle (which I think should be a very exciting match).

PPL could be the same. Flip a coin between Northeast and Central. Don't say that to Belmont Charter though. They only get better with each year. Hopefully, they can change the narrative of Northeast vs Central team finals.

District 12 was disappointing at last years regional in my opinion. Too many in 5th and 6th; some of which had the perfect opportunity to go to states. I think our district has a much better turnout. District 2 is starting to take a seat to District 12 which is an improvement.

I agree with Barman about the PCL team finals. I think that Judge wins again and the Prep v Ryan match will be the determinate for the second place finish. Quite honestly, I think it comes down to matchups. If Prep and Ryan get their best wrestlers against one another, I think the outcome will be based off of how the lower record wrestlers perform. If you look at it you have:

Otoole v Dooley: I think Dooley wins by dec
Marchesano v Iulinao: I think Iulinao wins by dec
Weinberg v Guinan: I think Weinberg wins by dec
Swift/Otoole v Noorchasm: I think Noorchasm loses to Otoole by maj dec or beats Swift by dec
Point Sway: either (9-3 Prep) or (7-6 Ryan)

Ryan's heavyweights are superior to Prep's however so that too could also decide such a match. Regardless its exciting stuff.

For individuals:
I think that the following will place at states:
Angel Garcia (D12 best shot at a state champ?)
Eamonn Logue (state champ??)

I think that the following will make states:
Sean Logue
Dante Iulinao
Liam Otoole
Jonathon Rogge Jr
Matt Kidwell
Brendan Spicer

I think the following have a SHOT at states:
Grigol Khochiashvili
Reynaldo Garcia
Zimir Rice
Matthew Weinberg
Sean Guinan
Daishawn Tilghman

I think that its gonna be a good year for D12.

Also, its gonna be Central v Northeast again. No arguing it.  Belmont Charter IS getting better but they aren't there yet.

Big Belmont fan here - I'm not counting them out that quickly.

They took 3rd in PPL last year with a team of all freshman and sophomores. (lost in semis by 2-3 bouts)
That means they lose 0 starters from last years' line up.
Now their team is a year older and wiser and word is their freshman class has some hammers.

How many starters did the other teams lose?
