District 1 Boys / Girls were well represented by several teams this weekend at one of the toughest offseason tournaments in the nation.
Apache sent 2 teams down
Broad Axe (formerly Pursuit) sent a team down
Im sure more sent as well...
and we had several boys / girls sprinkled on Shutt/ Elite and other teams.
If you have never been - a lot of these teams are all star national, state or regional teams filled with ranked kids.
Cael, Kolat and many college coaches were there recruiting - its one of those tournaments- and District 1 held their own and even shined against some of the nationally recruited teams.
Thank you to the coaches and parents who gave up their holiday weekend for our wrestlers to get amazing competition and exposure.
