Elite Level Event in NJ and a blast from the past

This past weekend I had the privilege to see live the Armed Forces National Wrestling Championships and see a couple of National Team members and Olympians compete live at Fort Dix, NJ.  Spencer Mango and Justin Lester both competed for the US Army.  Last year the winners of this tournament were awarded bids to the Olympic Trials.  I was surprised that there weren't more local wrestling fans attending however that was probably due to zero promotion for this event.  Very surprised by that given the state of our beloved sport at the elite level.  The very pleasant blast from the blast is that a "local" (from Delaware) wrestler that many here,  especially those that follow the lighter weights will remember from youth and HS days competed for the USMC, Ian Moser.  Congrats Ian, when so many wrestlers, coaches and fans try to figure out a way to do what they love for a living, you are living it.  You raised your hand and swore to protect and defend and will do so at a moment's notice, are wrestling for a living, way to go!
