Last week one of the best jh tournaments in the state took place at Wilson West Lawn. A couple of D1 teams participated and did well in a tournament made up mostly of quality district three schools. OJ Roberts led the way for D1 schools finishing 9th with Boyertown West at 11th. Owen J had one champion and two bronze medalists to go alond with a couple of 5ths and one 6th. Boyertown West had two runner-ups a third, sixth and eight place medalists. Boyertown East contributred two 7th place medalists and finished 25th out of 45 teams.
Also the Southeastern Pa jh wrestling tournament is going on tonight and into Saturday, this tournament is usually a good indicator of top freshman or sophmores that will be coming into our region next year.
