The 22nd annual Drexel Hill Raiders Winter
Classic, a Top 100 Tournament & Ohio Tournament of Champions qualifier, will be held on Sunday, March 8th, 2008,
at Upper Darby HS. Double elimination format with a staggered start
time (Bantam, Midget, Junior @ 9:00am & Intermediate & Advanced @
12:00 noon.) HS wrestlers born in 1993 or 1994 are eligible to compete in our Advanced Division. Malvern will be hosting a satellite
weigh-in on Thursday,
3-5-09, 7pm to 8:30pm (Thanks MP coaches!) and currently we also
have weigh-ins scheduled for Friday, 3-6-09, at Upper Merion HS
6pm-8pm, and Saturday, 3-7-09 at Upper Darby HS 6pm-9pm. Any team/club
that wishes to hold their own satellite weigh-in for our tournament

Winter Classic tournament form can be found at www.drexelhillraiders.com under
"wrestling." The registration form is a fillable PDF, once you open it up
all you have to do is type in your information and print it out. All
ICWL/non-ICWL/Club teams are welcome to send 1 coach to our seeding
committee meeting on Thursday, 3-5-09, (time/location TBA) to help with the
seeding.
This tough tournament will be a great warm-up for any wrestler competing the upcoming PJW championships and MAWA districts, and the staggered start will ensure that you will not spend an entire day at the tournament. Any questions please give me a shout at the below email.
