You're gonna want to correct Khochiashvili and Pennington, they're both 152 now. Him being 152 is pretty big. Definitely a surprise.

Some matchups I'm looking forward to this weekend:

120 - Santana vs. Pabon-Williams
Notes: Santana will likely cruise, but it's been fun to see Pabon-Williams develop this year!

126 - Petroski vs. Bohannon
         Petroski/Bohannon vs. Bosque
         Petroski/Bohannon/Bosque vs. Braddock
Notes: This seems like the deepest weight in the PPL, along with 138. I legitimately think these 4 are all very close. Not making predictions on this post, just looking forward to seeing how this plays out.

138 - Garcia vs. Copeland
         Garcia/Copeland vs. Diaby
Notes: Copeland has has interesting past matchups against both of these guys. My biggest question for him is his gas tank; he's in either match if he can keep it together. For Diaby, his improvements over the last year have been incredible. Majored by Garcia (9-0) last year, he's now in position to possibly avenge that loss for a PPL Title. Good luck to all of these guys.

145 - Rodriquez vs. Parker
         Luchko vs. Rodriguez/Parker
Notes: Admittedly, I don't know much about Parker. 20-5 record is nice, but FTC seems to wrestle a pretty light schedule. Glad to get a (hopefully) good matchup in the early rounds at the PPL...Luchko Rodriguez, if they meet, would be their 3rd match against each other in the last 5-6 weeks. This one would break the tie & be fun for everyone to see!

152 - Khochiashvili vs. Pennington
Notes: A repeat finals matchup from last season. I believe the ONLY finals repeat we could be looking at.

160 - Perez vs. Diarra
         Perez/Diarra vs. Ragsdale
         Ragsdale vs. Perez
         Ragdale/Perez vs. Singleton
Notes: Seems like a tight race in what might not be the most talented weight class, but still deep nonetheless. For what it's worth: Perez beat Diarra (11-8) in January, Ragsdale beat Perez (3-2), and Singleton pinned Ragsdale in the 3rd place match at PPL's last year. Looking forward to some good matches at this weight throughout the weekend!

195- Colbourne vs. Long-McKinzie
Notes: Colbourne is clearly the logical pick here, but it'll be interesting to see how Long-McKinzie performs against higher level talent.
