Post-season info for 2022

   With the calendar turning to October... the 2021-22 season is just a little over 2 months away.
Recently the District 1 wrestling steering committee finalized some details (including locations) regarding the upcoming 2022 post-season.

The PIAA also approved a change for post-season tournaments only, allowing a max of 6 matches in a single day instead of 5.  That allows some tournaments to now be run in a single day instead of needing a second day.

For AA:
District 1/12 AA tournament will be held at Archbishop Ryan HS on Saturday, February 26th. (Top 3 per weight advance)

South East AA regional will be held at Bethlehem Freedom HS on Friday, March 4th and Saturday, March 5th. (Top 6 per weight advance)

For AAA:
District 1 AAA East, North, South, and West tournaments will be held on Saturday, February 26th with full consolations.  (Top 4 per weight will advance)
East will be held at Quakertown HS.
North will be held at Perkiomen Valley HS.
South will be held at a Interboro HS.
West will be held at Oxford Area HS.

South East AAA regional will be held at Oxford Area HS on Friday, March 4th and Saturday, March 5th. (Top 5 per weight will advance)

Information on District Duals will be set at a later date, depending on how many schools are available to host.  Tentatively the first round matches for AAA would be Thursday, January 27th.  The rest of the tournament would be held Friday, February 4th and Saturday, February 5th.
