I think it's gonna be decent year D12 in regional tournament.
Potentially, two champions and multiple D12 wrestlers making states in the same weight class.

Nicely done.

I like DeShawn Tilghman at 220. He's strong and moves well. But, I'll take 5 or more to states any day.

I'm feeling good about D12 this season. A lot of returning wrestlers with postseason experience.

Quoting Jim Savage, HC of FJ; "What I tell my guys is, the Northeast Region is tough, because we are in it. We have some tough kids!"

That's the mentality we need. Let's go kick some ass and represent Philly!!!

I got one or two of the top 3 at 132 place: One should make states and the other place 5th and 6th.
I don't have Fountain beating Condomitti and making finals, but I think he gets 3rd. I predict Fountain getting double revenge against Stefanik from last year to win his quarterfinal and place 3rd.

WOW what a shake up at 138.Under dogs wrestled there asses off. Clacks Taking out Garcia.. Otoole on a rampage. If it wasn't for the normal horrible refereeing against dist 12 we would of had a few more placers. The Faber(naz) Otoole match was crazy. Faber wrestling dirty clubbing and pushing Otoole off the mat. Otoole obviously got pissed and came back with a big throw putting Faber on his back with more the half the gym screaming he is pinned!! Refs controlling the outcomes as usual. Doesn't matter how your ranked or wrestled during the season. The season begins at Regionals, I believe well at least to district 12. Congrats to all the dist  12 kids win or loose you came to wrestle.

Italianfighter... I loved seeing O'Toole hit that throw but I didn't see bad officiating in that match. Faber is very aggressive. I hear he is a freshman who won the district 11 tournament last week. That's what it takes I guess. Honestly I wish all of D12 would wrestle more like that.

I missed the throw and Farber is a junior.

Seems like a lot of the public HSs in District 11 don't like BECA, did anyone else sense that?

Metal,
It was quite obvious of the hatred to both Catholic and especially the Public. I think thats why you saw all the district 12 teams anding together cheering for each other. D  12 came to wrestle this year they obviously didn't like that all. Some of the worst one sided officiating I have ever witnessed.

From my angle Faber was pinned .. if Otoole was the one on his back that ref was slapped that mat so quick. one sided officiating all day against 12 D boys . it is a shame that matches were lost because of it
Really need to get some neutral officiating I tired of loosing my voice at regionals every year because of these dudes

A wrestler from Northampton who is also a state champion was overheard joking with his coach about an over/under bet on wether or not districts 2 and 12 would combine to get 10 wrestlers through the tournament to states... That pissed me off and I was glad to see later that the over was the winning choice for that bet.

another thing that pissed me off was jameel coles semifinals match against Northampton. I was watching and I could see that coles was agrivating the Northampton kid. I wasn’t sure but at some point during the match I thought I heard racial slurs being yelled at coles. I also witnessed the entirety of the Northampton fans screaming all sorts of things at him and coles kept his cool and then proceeded to pin the Northampton kid with one hand while smiling at the Northampton fans. Made me laugh a bit, they got what they deserved.

138 had forfeits for 1st and 3rd.   Maybe Liam will get the call.   Britton was out injured a lot.

I didn’t witness one-sided officiating throughout the tournament to be honest with you. I thought that was much better officiating then I’ve seen really all season at D12 and D1 matches. There was maybe one official that didn’t strike me as all that great, but I think the rest were pretty solid. The Northampton parents and fans were pretty worked up that entire round from a prior semi-final bout at 152 where their guy lost in OT after some injury time and late takedown in the 3rd so that probably had something to do with their reaction to the match at 195. Their behavior was inexcusable but I did not hear anything racial being said.
