I know it’s kind of early but name your top 4 finishers in each weight class.

All depends on seeding, but PPL:

106:
Brooks
Ponce
Ortiz
??

113:
Santana
Pabon Williams
Martini
Choizi

120:
Lebron
Mcfarlin
Lombardo
Costin

126:
Rice
Kakar (or does he go 120?)
Braddock
Walsh

132:
Belleh
Copeland
Capriotti
??

138:
Garcia
Diaby
Clacks
??

145:
Rogge
Faruqi
Parker
??

152:
Pennington
Kochiashvili
Ragsdale
Rivera

160:
Morales
Anderson
Perez
??

170:
Garcia
Barksdale
Acquino
??

182:
Colbourne
Adechokan
Caraballo
Khabibulloev

195:
Coles
Sakhokia
Martinez

220:
Tilghman
Youbouet
Foday
James

285:
Ford
Kupa
Borrero
Fricker

Team race will come down to who has the most in the finals. I think Belmont has a slight edge with Central and NE really close behind and MBA right there in the mix as well. All will depend on seedings. There are always a few weights where the 2 best kids end up meeting in the semis. This will affect team scores significantly.

OW goes to whomever wins 138. Unless Tatyana wins the tournament then she gets it.

Did you just copy and paste the rankings or just go by wins and losses so far?

I have Webb of GW in top 3 and Clacks 2nd. (Depending on seating, we may get Garcia-Clacks II semifinal) I also love the Morales-Anderson match-up at 160.

Webb is good but just had surgery. Also Ponce pinned him in 1st period recently.

JP who are your picks?

Usually there are a few weight drops in the postseason, which should make it interesting. Here's my prediction:
106:
Logue
Marchesano
Dooley

113:
Iuliano
Edwards
O’Toole
Edwards fighting up to 113 throughout the years has been admirable but Iuliano is probably too much.

120:
Logue
Weinberg
Guinan
I think Weinberg gets the best of Guinan this year. Logue is one of the clear favorites.

126:
Logue
Scancella
Guinan
Guinan has bad record in general but fairs very well against the Catholic league. I think he avenges a match vs Scalen.

132:
Lawlor
Marchesano
Eck
If Marchesano can catch Lawlor, he will win. If the match ends up stingy, I'm giving it to Lawlor, which I think he will execute:

138:
Johnson
O'Toole
Riemer
O'Toole would have to beat Johnson very technically, but I don't think that's his style. If it's physical, Johnson easily wins.

145:
Fountain
Hartman
Cataldi
All I can say about this weight class is the seeding. Not saying names but you know who is probably getting seeded a little too high because of record.

152:
St. Thomas
Wildonger
Gallaso
A lot of toss ups at this weight. Should be fun to see. Seeding will heavily effect this bracket.

160:
Kidwell
McQuaid
Pisarchuk
Kidwell is the best amount the weight but this weight class is pretty good. I think OW might come out of this weight.

170:
Spicer
Collins
Best
I think Spicer makes some adjustments off that close loss. Barberi vs Best is a good one. Don't think Barberi gets past Collins.

182:
Jones
Adolph
Williamson
Not sure why you had Kuzy in finals, but I could be wrong.

195:
Richardson
Grace
Buffert
Not much to say. Grace should make finals but Richardson should win comfortably I think.

220:
Fowler
Trainer
DeJohn
Fowler is another clear favorite. Trainer will definitely make finals and lose though.

285:
Merskey
Burns
Lage
Don't know where Merskey came from, but he's had a very good season. Curious how he does at regions.

youngbuck i really disagree with your calls at 120, 145, and 152, and 170

at 120 guinan will beat wienberg
at 145 the places will be Ceaser, Hartman, Cataldi, Swift respectively
at 152 the places will be Wildonger, St. Thomas, Noorchashm, Loughney respectively
at 170 Spicer will win, second/third will be a toss up between barberi and collins

pmacsters I understand 3/4 of your disagreements.

120: I think it comes down to whether he gets himself back in good shape and who works harder. The two were close in skill before Guinan had to miss a good amount of time. Could definitely be wrong.

145:I personally think Swift has been showing some decent results against decent competition (a bit of an anomaly from Ryan wrestling), but that's just me.

170: Everyone here is pretty close in skill, Spicer definitely was the favorite, but Collins kinda showed me personally that the tourney is gonna be a scuffle. Should be a great weight class to watch. Again I could easily be wrong in my prediction.

152 though I really think is a light bracket and is St.Thomas's to take. Wildonger, Noorchasm and Loughney all have shown decent seasons but haven't had the same success as St Thomas.
I'd really be shocked at an upset here, IMHO.

I stand corrected. At 152 I see the places being Wildonger, St. Thomas, Galasso, Noorchashm. i completely forgot about galasso when looking at your predcitons youngbuck.

No Rice (Overbrook) at 126? Impressive wins in his resume

No Coles (Northeast) at 195? This guy is making a state run

Rice and Coles are both in the brackets and the PPL predictions above.

I agree with yours CM...  I was looking at the 3 predictions (Macs ter, Barman, Youngbuck) missing those 2...
Especially the undefeated 195 pounder...  He's bringing home state hardware...

Buc - kind of hard for Coles, Rice or any Pub wrestler to win PCL's - just as hard as it would be for any PCL wrestler to win the Public League.  Districts are next weekend where they'll be in the same tournament.
