Sure beats the ball grab...<br>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://forums.pa-wrestling.com/member_profile.asp?PF=384">oldcougar</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> States at Penn State?<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> May&nbsp;17&nbsp;2012 at 5:56pm<br /><br />Interesting article, implying there are shenanigans going on with the Giant Center in Hershey.<br><br>Even though it's in Center County, Penn State used to be pretty inaccessible.&nbsp; But I80 slides on by within about 20 miles -giving Northern PA easy access.&nbsp; And it's also pretty easy coming from Southwestern PA.&nbsp; When I wrestled states at Penn State,&nbsp; it seemed to take forever to get there. But now that the "road that Joe built" is in place it cuts the travel time from the Southeast by an hour or more.<br><br>Still, I'm perfectly content with the Giant Center.&nbsp; It works for the team championship and the individual championship just fine.&nbsp; <br><br>Also, selfishly, I can get there in less than 1 1/2 hours.&nbsp; (Wonder how long it takes for those Erie kids to get there).<br><br>I really don't think that the number of hotel rooms is an issue as long as the states aren't held during an 'event' weekend.&nbsp; Lots of big pricey hotels up there.<br><br>But at Hershey (actually suburban Hershey) I've been staying in the same cheap dump for 25 years.&nbsp; I'm happy there. <br><br>my preference would be to let sleeping dogs lie.&nbsp; <br>]]>
